Terms of Service

By accessing or using The Fridge (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and The Fridge. We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to use The Fridge. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• You are not located in a jurisdiction where use of this Platform is prohibited by law.
• You are solely responsible for your wallet, private keys, and seed phrases. We have no ability to recover lost wallet access.

The Fridge uses wallet-based authentication via Privy. Your account is tied to your Ethereum wallet address and Privy identity (DID). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet and any connected email address.

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. Deletion permanently removes your profile, notes, follows, and reactions. This action cannot be undone.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice.

You are solely responsible for all content you post on The Fridge. You agree not to post content that:

• Is illegal under applicable law.
• Constitutes harassment, hate speech, threats, or targeted abuse of any individual or group.
• Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors.
• Impersonates another person, project, or entity in a misleading way.
• Constitutes financial fraud, pump-and-dump schemes, or market manipulation.
• Infringes on the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Distributes malware, phishing links, or other malicious content.
• Violates the privacy of others (e.g., sharing private wallet addresses, personal data, or doxxing).

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these guidelines. Egregious violations (e.g., CSAM) will be reported to relevant authorities.

The Fridge is a social platform — not a financial advisor, broker, or exchange. Nothing on this Platform constitutes financial, investment, or legal advice.

NFT values are volatile. We make no representations about the current or future value of any digital asset. Participation in any OTC or peer-to-peer trade on the Platform is entirely at your own risk.

The OTC Marketplace (when available) facilitates direct peer-to-peer trades via smart contracts. The Fridge is not a party to any trade. We do not hold, escrow, or guarantee delivery of any digital asset. You are responsible for verifying all transactions before signing.

You retain ownership of all content you create and post on The Fridge. By posting content, you grant The Fridge a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform.

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to any content you post, including NFT artwork displayed on your profile. Do not post content you do not own or have permission to share.

The Fridge name, logo, and FrostyOS design system are our intellectual property and may not be used without written permission.

The Fridge relies on the following third-party services to operate:

• Privy — authentication and wallet management. Subject to Privy's own terms.
• Alchemy — NFT data and on-chain lookups. Subject to Alchemy's terms.
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure. Subject to Vercel's terms.
• Neon — database hosting. Subject to Neon's terms.

We are not responsible for the actions, data practices, or availability of these third-party services.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms, without liability to you. We will attempt to provide notice when possible, except where immediate action is required (e.g., illegal content, security threats).

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your account data at any time.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE FRIDGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR NFT ASSETS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM.

We are not liable for: smart contract bugs or failures, wallet compromises, lost seed phrases, network outages, third-party service failures, or the outcome of any peer-to-peer trade.

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes may be announced via the Platform or via email if you have one associated with your account.

Your continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
